The first private Spanish company certified by the Spain's National Supervisory Authority (Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea - AESA) to provide air transport services according to the Single European Sky Standard and the Common Requirements established by the EU Commission in the Implementation Regulation No. 1035/2011 of 17 October 2011 (formerly UE2096/2005), which establishes common requirements for the provision of air navigation services.

SAERCO was created in 2010, founded by a group of professionals with extensive experience in the aviation, air navigation and services sector for a common purpose: to provide Air Navigation Services in Spain and internationally.

SAERCO's technological partner is ANS CR Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic, the provider of air navigation services in the Czech Republic.

SAERCO's corporate purpose is to render air navigation services in aerodromes and airports according to the provisions of the Single European Sky standard, (EU) Regulation 1035/2011 on Common Requirements for the provision of air navigation services and the Spanish Air Traffic Regulation approved in Royal Decree 57/2002, as well as all international civil aviation rules applicable to air transit services.

SAERCO has met all of the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), which means that the company is qualified to render its services in any aerodrome anywhere in the world.

The air navigation services rendered by SAERCO are:

  • Aerodrome air traffic control: ATC.
  • Aerodrome flight information AFIS.
  • Maintenance and operation of communication, navigation and surveillance systems CNS.
  • Continuing education associated with the services mentioned above.
  • Initial AFIS operator training.
  • Initial air traffic controller training (tower, approach and route).
