ROMEO5

Servicios

The ROMEO5 project arises as an innovative response to the challenges posed by the modernization and digitalization of Air Traffic Management in Europe. Framed within the European Digital Sky initiative, Romeo5 aims to transform ATM service infrastructures in airport airspace, making air transport in this area more efficient, sustainable, and secure, in line with the EU's overarching goals in environmental and digitalization areas.

The main objective of ROMEO5 is to develop a solution that facilitates interaction between air traffic controllers and existing air traffic management systems using advanced AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning , explainable artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and voice and image recognition. This is achieved through multi-model integration to create a digital twin that virtually reproduces the airport control service scenario. It provides ATCOs with enhanced situational awareness, aiming to increase safety, efficiency, and sustainability in air traffic control.

ROMEO5 is a project supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities and is subsidized by the CDTI.
